70 Years Of Italian Fashion Genius

Sandton City, Diamond Walk was the gracious host to the ’70 Years of Italian Genius’ fashion showcase.
From Versace and Gianfranco Ferré, to Valentino and Roberto Capucci, the exhibition was nothing short of breathtaking. The event celebrated these iconic fashion pieces by setting the tone with champagne, art and sophistication. Italian design was praised and acknowledged for it’s creativity, craftsmanship and ‘high-end’ status and clientele.
Of course the elite fashion design and market of the Italians goes far beyond the seven decades that we celebrated last Sunday night, but what we honoured was their fusion between the garment and textile industry and the innovation of the stylists.
Every ‘It’ girl and influencer was there and treated like royalty. The bar was showered in candles and white roses while Kimmy K kept the party going with her signature style.
Showcase or not, the Diamond Walk is a sight to behold and is the ultimate window shopping experience, or, for the lucky few, a pick-and-choose wardrobe for the season.
