The Blue Carpet Fashion at the 2019 BET Awards

The 2019 BET Awards have just taken place and its time to review all the fashion choices that took place on the blue carpet. 

The award ceremony was initiated back in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network. The event celebrates all African Americans and other American minorities that have excelled in the entertainment industry over the past year. The categories include music, acting, sport and more. 

Below are the well-deserving winners who are the reason that all of the attendees got dressed up to the nines: 

• Album of the Year: INVASION OF PRIVACY – Cardi B
• Best New Artist: Lil Baby
• Best Female Hip Hop Artist: Cardi B
• Best Male Hip Hop Artist: Nipsey Hussle
• Best Collaboration: Travis Scott feat. Drake – “SICKO MODE”
• Best International Act: Burna Boy – Nigeria
• Viewers Choice – Best International Act: ShoMadjozi – South Africa
• Best Female R&B/Pop Artist: Beyoncé
• Best Male R&B/Pop Artist: Bruno Mars
• Young Stars Award: Marsai Martin
• Best Group: Migos
• Best Actress: Regina King
• Best Actor: Michael B. Jordan
• Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award: Snoop Dogg feat. Rance Allen – “BLESSING ME AGAIN”
• Sportsman of the Year: Stephen Curry
• Sportswoman of the Year: Serena Williams
• BET HER Award: H.E.R. – “HARD PLACE”
