Add up your scores to find out if you’re cut out for the fashion industry.

Mostly As:

YOU DEFINITELY HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO EXCEL IN THIS INDUSTRY

According to your score I’d say you’ve got about 80% of the right stuff. You’re confident, friendly and know when to put your head down and work your ass off. Just be prepared to grow a slightly thicker skin and try not to get irritated quite so easily. People in this industry can be indecisive and rude and its up to you to deal with all that while keeping a smile on your face and getting the job done. With that being said, there is a fine balance between being polite and being a push over, so be reasonable and patient but also stay strong.

Mostly Bs:

YOU’VE GOT THIS!

You’re tough, efficient and aren’t afraid of the dirty work. The fashion industry needs more people like you! You understand that manual labour will be part of the job and are prepared to put up with it for a few years. Trust the process and know that your dedication and hard work will make you stand out from the rest and will most definitely pay off!

Mostly Cs:

MAYBE YOU SHOULD RETHINK THINGS

Look, I get it. You want to go into fashion for the glitz the glam and all things fabulous. But be warned, unless you’re the editor, you are not going to be experiencing much of that for quite some time. You will be in charge of invoices, packing and unpacking boxes, and pulling socks off and on models. So yes, in a couple of years you will start reaping the benefits of the industry, and maybe even before then getting to go to a press event or two and receive the occasional gift. But, like your parents have probably told you, it isn’t all paparazzi and parties. So be prepared to get your hands dirty, work hard and not earn much of a pay check.
