TMRW Magazine X Frances Claire

Kissing Booth actress, Frances Claire Sholto-Douglas, plays a heart-broken girl seeking revenge in this editorial I styled for TMRW magazine. TMRW is a New York based magazine that has featured some of the world’s biggest celebrities, and has recently published a very iconic issue solely dedicated to the one and only, Kylie Jenner, which made a huge splash across social media.
For this ten page feature – titled ‘Boys Lie’ – I featured a range of luxury South African fashion designers such as: Rich Mnisi, Sindiso Khumalo, Gavin Rajah and Adore Couture. I then accessorised our gorgeous model with some of the finest jewellery that this country has to offer, and dripped Frances in gold, silver, diamonds and pearls by Uwe Koetter jewellers.
We decided to put a vintage spin on the outfits, hair and makeup (by Nabz Sonday), and the setting and lighting which our photographer, Andréa Katzeff, pulled off flawlessly.
Although pink, feathers and frills were the centre of the outfit choices that were made, we added a darker element by having Frances licking a voodoo doll adorned with a ken head, followed by repeatedly stabbing a teddy bear to shreds that was clearly a gift from her ex.
