Creating shoots in time for summer, often means having to pull the shoot off during winter or spring. Unfortunately that also means that the weather doesn’t always cooperate. Retha and I planned to do a summertime shoot with cinematographer Scott Hurly on the iconic rocks along Llandudno beach, but as luck would have it, the clouds came unpredictably rolling in at the last minute.
This meant the photoshoot was cancelled, yet I still had a bunch of gorgeous clothes that I didn’t want to go to waste. To make the most of it Retha and I decided to play dress and take some pictures ourselves. She came over to my place and we mixed and matched the clothing I had pulled with Retha’s own personal wardrobe to create a few fun looks.
The sun decided to pop out every now and then and we still had palm trees and the ocean as our backdrop which made it temporarily feel like summer.
